Since 2003, $2 million+ given in cash and goods

“At ASI, we’re a small family-owned company made up of people with big hearts, and it’s inspiring to see so many employees work tirelessly to support those in need.” – ASI Chairman Norman Cohn

TREVOSE, PA – December 16, 2025

The Advertising Specialty Institute® is proud to highlight 2025’s charitable efforts, supporting children in homeless shelters, veterans, food-insecure families and individuals facing serious illnesses across the Greater Philadelphia area and beyond.

Since 2003, ASI has donated well over $2 million in cash and goods to support local charities and to provide disaster relief in hard-hit regions home to numerous promo products companies and their employees. In 2025 alone, donations to nonprofits totaled over $40,000.

Money was raised through employee payroll contributions, fundraisers and matching donations from the Norman Cohn family, owners of ASI since 1962, and Timothy M. Andrews, president and chief executive officer of ASI, the largest technology, marketing and information provider in the $26.6 billion promotional products industry.

A Year of Giving

Charitable contributions throughout 2025 combined corporate and employee-driven initiatives, many organized by the ASI Charity Initiative group, formed by employees in 2021 to promote goodwill toward all. The collective efforts underscore the company’s long-standing commitment to social responsibility and community impact, including:

  • Supporting Local Families: Contributions of $16,344 benefited United Way of Bucks County to aid in fighting hunger, feeding the elderly and providing emergency shelter and schooling for children.
  • Helping Children: The 21st annual Holiday Gift Drive raised an all-time record $12,951, providing gifts, bikes, art and sports supplies for more than 350 children served by the Family Service Association of Bucks County, including children living in a homeless shelter.
  • Community Giving: During a day devoted to volunteerism, employees raised $2,694 and donated time and/or goods to Habitat for Humanity, Ronald McDonald House and the Women’s Animal Center. Additional employee-driven initiatives included a Photos with Santa fundraiser ($420 for Ronald McDonald House) and a raffle for a prime parking spot ($600 for Women’s Animal Center).
  • Fighting Hunger: Contributions of $2,697 supported Philabundance, a regional food bank, and MANNA’s Pie in the Sky program, which provides hot meals to people facing serious illness.
  • Food Bank Drive: Employees donated food, household necessities and cash to the Family Service Association of Bucks County for a total contribution of $2,520.
  • Supporting Medical Research: Donations of $2,500 went to Breakthrough T1D, advancing research and support for people living with Type 1 diabetes.
  • Honoring Veterans: 160 letters and note cards were hand-delivered to 150 World War II, Korean, and Vietnam War veterans traveling to Washington, D.C., through the Bucks County Tour of Honor.

Leadership Reflections

Andrews, who grew up in a trailer in Indiana with a single mother on food stamps and Medicaid, often emphasizes the importance of giving back.

“At ASI, giving back is in our DNA,” said Andrews. “Every year, our employees show incredible generosity and teamwork, supporting so many different people (and animals!) in need. I’m proud to match their contributions and help amplify the impact we can make together in our communities.”

ASI Chairman Norman Cohn added, “From a young age, my parents instilled in us the importance of helping others. At ASI, we’re a small family-owned company made up of people with big hearts, and it’s inspiring to see so many employees work tirelessly to support those in need.”
