ASI’s online conversations and posts picked No. 1 after analysis of  2,500 social media accounts

TREVOSE, PA – April 29, 2015 – The Advertising Specialty Institute® (ASI) today announced it was chosen number-one on a list of the top 25 online influencers tracked by a social media monitoring research firm that analyzed 2,500 accounts throughout the promotional products industry.

The Social Studies Group was asked by Quality Certification Alliance (QCA), a Chicago-based independent accreditation organization, to analyze industry social media conversations and score them on impact, potential, engagement, social reach, quality and industry topics. Content relevancy was given twice the weight, as one of the list’s primary goals was to single-out content that provides great value to the industry.

In the end, QCA chose ASI’s online editor, Vincent Driscoll, number-one on the comprehensive, data-driven list of top 25 content products in the industry. “As the voice of ASI, Vin Driscoll’s social conversation starters include new product ideas, recognition for industry award winners and resources for a strong business and career,” the organization said in announcing the list.

“There is much for all of us to learn from emulating the thought-leaders providing digital leadership in our industry, and having a list based on a methodical review and analysis seems like a great place to start,” said Jeffrey P. Jacobs, QCA executive director.

Driscoll (@asicentral), an employee since 2007, is ASI’s primary poster on Twitter and helps manage the company’s numerous Facebook pages along with Lauren Medina, ASI’s multimedia coordinator, under the supervision of Yann Perrin, ASI’s Web development manager.
