ASI Launching ESP Web and ESP Orders at Virtual Trade Show Tomorrow

Demonstrations and charter pricing available to all 2,000 attendees

TREVOSE, PA – March 22, 2010 – The Advertising Specialty Institute today announced that its revolutionary new ESP Web and ESP Orders services will launch tomorrow at ASI’s first virtual trade show of 2010.

The virtual trade show is taking place live from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. EDT tomorrow (Tuesday, March 23), where distributors, suppliers and decorators will network and sell in real time through interactive multimedia booths.

ESP Web and ESP Orders will start rolling out to segments of ESP users during the show and a graduated rollout will continue throughout the spring.  Training videos covering major new features of the services will be available on the log-in screen of ESP Web.

“The growing popularity of our cutting-edge virtual trade shows presents the perfect platform for the launch of our revolutionary new ESP services,” said Timothy M. Andrews, president and chief executive officer of ASI.  “ESP’s total makeover will radically improve the way users do business, allowing for instant access anytime to products, supplier data, ESP Orders and customer information.”

The new ESP Web runs on standard Internet browsers, including Explorer, Firefox, Apple’s Safari and Google Chrome.  ESP Orders is a total order management system, available with ESP Web, that allows distributors to create sales orders, purchase orders and invoices electronically without rekeying any data.  All order information is replicated automatically, providing more time for selling.

“ESP Web is simple sophistication at its best,” said Bobby Lehew, director of operations for Robyn Promo (asi/309656) and a beta tester of the new service.  “I submitted a project to a client within minutes of using it for the first time.  I have the freedom to access ESP Web from anywhere and it lets me concentrate on my clients and their needs.”

Demonstrations of ESP Web and ESP Orders will continue in the training room at the ASI booth and in select “power session” rooms at all upcoming superregional ASI Shows, including ASI New York (Tuesday, May 4, through Thursday, May 6) and ASI Chicago (Tuesday, July 13, through Thursday, July 15).

ESP is the industry’s leading sourcing and marketing program, with 2.5 million promotional product searches conducted in a typical month.  Over 32,000 distributors use ESP to access every product from 3,500 reputable ASI suppliers and to market products to end-buyers.

There are no additional costs to current ESP Online users who switch to ESP Web, and charter pricing of less than $1 per day is available for ESP Orders.

ASI will host three more virtual trade shows this year, on April 28, June 16 and September 22.
