ASI® Launches ASISupplier Websites Upgrade

TREVOSE, PA – January 18, 2007 – Advertising Specialty Institute®, the largest media and marketing organization serving the advertising specialty industry, today launched an ASISupplier Websites upgrade, to provide powerful features that will increase online shopping.

The new ASISupplier Websites provide suppliers with an online selling presence and are built with the state-of-the-art shopping engine relied upon by Circuit City®, Home Depot®, Walmart.com® and the LogoMall® network of over 7,800 websites.

Content on ASISupplier Websites use the most current product information and the highest-quality images available in the ad specialty industry – the same data found within ESP Online and updated everyday by the dedicated member data professionals at ASI.

Each website has a distributor-only access area, where distributors can request quotes, samples and catalogs using their ASICentral.com® password. The special access also allows distributors to view supplier specials, pricing and contact information.

Timothy M. Andrews, president of ASI, explained that ASI is expanding its technology products for suppliers to meet the needs of ASI members.

“ASI suppliers have been asking us for a professional, first-class Website and we’ve responded,” said Timothy M. Andrews, president of ASI.  “The advanced shopping engine integrated into ASISupplier Websites allows distributors to find more of the products they are searching for and to request purchase information immediately from the supplier to help close more business faster.”

Reactions from ASI suppliers have been positive.

“Our new ASI supplier website has made life a lot easier, because the product information we submit to ESP is now updated instantly on our website,” said Neil Henderson, president of 4 Sizzle, Inc. (asi/55213).  “The search tools are very familiar to distributors, plus there are several great customizable aspects – like the one for highlighting feature products.”

“Incoming call volume has been increasing daily and distributors are quickly becoming new customers for us,” said John Madera, owner of Triple Seven Promotional Products (asi/92133). “The new website through ASI has been a tremendous boost for our business.”
We have recently become a subscriber, to assist us in our ongoing marketing efforts,” said Earl Guinter, owner of PolyPro (asi/78952).  “With more and more transactions being done via the web, we believe it is important to give our distributors all the tools necessary to showcase our products.  My website gives me the flexibility to update the format and to inform of new product lines when necessary.”

ASISupplier Websites are affordable for both current users and new subscribers.  For current users, an upgrade is free for one year and $195 each year following.  For new subscribers, special pricing is $295 per year.
