ASI Honored as a Top Workplace and Best Place for New Moms

Employees vote ASI a great place to work for the 6th year in a row

TREVOSE, PA –April 27, 2015 – The Advertising Specialty Institute® (ASI) today announced it has been honored as a “Best Place for Working Moms” in an employee-driven competition recognizing outstanding workplace environments.

The company also received an honorable mention for “Best Employer Overall in Pennsylvania” among companies with more than 100 employees in the Best Places to Work 2015 Contest hosted by the Bucks County Courier Times, The Intelligencer and the Burlington County Times newspapers. This is the sixth consecutive year ASI has been selected by employees as a great place to work.

The company offers new moms a private nursing room and pregnant women are given parking places close to the entrance.

In addition, the family-owned company offers competitive benefits, an array of educational programs, an award-winning Wellness Program and diversity initiatives. ASI also provides an on-site day care, fitness center, Starbucks, a café featuring healthy options, casual dress every day and community service events.

Winners were celebrated at a Best Places to Work awards ceremony at the Northampton Valley Country Club in Northampton, PA.

ASI is the largest media, marketing and education organization serving the $21.5 billion promotional products industry, with a network of over 25,000 distributors and suppliers throughout North America. ASI is centrally located on a 33-acre campus between Philadelphia and New York City.

The annual online contest asked workers to nominate employers in 23 categories. The independent certified accounting firm, Kreischer Miller, received the nominations, tabulated the votes and validated the results in each category.

“ASI is delighted that its employees took the time to nominate us for such wonderful honors,” said Timothy M. Andrews, president and chief executive officer of ASI. “It’s gratifying that new moms, in particular, feel great about coming to work every day at ASI, especially when they have so many companies to choose from.”

In 2014, ASI was recognized as a “Top Workplace” and “Best Employer for New Graduates.” In 2013, ASI was named a “Best Places to Work – Large Company,” “Best Place for Working Moms” and “Best Employer for New Graduates.” ASI previously won “Best Places to Work” awards in 2012, 2011 and 2010.

ASI’s engaging work atmosphere is supported through fun activities such as employee social mixers, ping pong competitions and field day activities, and it recognizes outstanding professional achievements through quarterly president’s awards and an annual employee awards ceremony.

On September 11, ASI is hosting the Counselor® Best Places to Work Conference at the Montage Beverly Hills in Beverly Hills, California.
