TREVOSE, PA – March 29, 2010 – The Advertising Specialty Institute® announced today that its ASI Holiday Preview will be taking place Monday, September 13, and Tuesday, September 14, at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas.
The event opens with the popular “New Distributor Success Track,” an education program designed for distributors in the first three years of their career in the ad specialty industry and others who are looking for a refresher, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, September 13. Tuesday, September 14, will feature “Exhibitor Presents” from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., with exhibitors presenting their hot new products for the holiday season. Tabletop exhibits are open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and are followed by a closing networking reception at 4 p.m.
“After a successful inaugural ASI Show in San Diego, many suppliers and distributors asked us to consider a more intimate format for our Las Vegas show,” said Timothy M. Andrews, president and chief executive officer of ASI and president of The ASI Show. “The ASI Holiday Preview is designed to provide an environment that allows distributors, suppliers and decorators to learn what’s new for the holiday selling season, while expanding their time for networking.”
“Suppliers exhibiting will enjoy the face to face opportunities they have with distributors to preview their seasonal promotional products,” said Karen DiTomasso, vice president of sales for The ASI Show. “The Advantages Roadshow, ASI’s traveling tabletop show, is already popular, and its format provides a similar platform for exhibitors to meet on a personal level with prospects and clients.”
Distributors can register for the ASI Holiday Preview in Las Vegas at asishow.com, and the website for hotel registration will be open there within the next couple of weeks. The Venetian Hotel is the official show hotel, where a limited number of hotel rooms have been secured at $149 (half off the usual rate of $300).
