Publications also score 9 regional awards in B-to-B’s largest and most competitive editorial contest
TREVOSE, PA – May 29, 2019 – The Advertising Specialty Institute® today announced that ASI magazines won four more national Azbee Awards of Excellence and nine regional awards in one of the nation’s largest and most competitive editorial contests.
Among the honors, Wearables® magazine was awarded a national Gold award for Overall Excellence and named a Top 10 Magazine of the Year. Wearables, the promotional products industry’s go-to source for imprinted apparel information, is edited by C.J. Mittica (@CJ_Advantages).
The awards recognized ASI’s editorial expertise across a variety of categories in both print and digital, including investigative reporting on Chinese tariffs and trade wars, the Counselor Power 50, feature stories, how-to articles and fashion design.
The multiple wins come on the heels of Counselor® magazine being honored with three prestigious Jesse H. Neal national journalism awards for editorial excellence, including wins for a masterful range of work by a single author, a profile of its Person of the Year and its annual State of the Industry package.
“Every day, our magazine editors, reporters, designers and researchers do their very best to produce rich content that informs and advances our industry and I’m thrilled they’re being recognized for their exceptional work across so many platforms,” said Michele Bell (@ASI_MBell), who oversees ASI’s editorial team.
The ASBPE’s Azbee Awards in Overall Excellence, Online, Design, Print and All Content divisions were presented as part of its 41st annual Azbee Awards of Excellence banquet, held in conjunction with GenerationB2B, ASBPE’s 2019 National Conference at The Poynter Institute in St. Petersburg, FL. ASBPE represents more than 2,000 journalists for B2B publications.
