ASI Announces Top-Performing Suppliers At Counselor Distributor Choice Awards

Showdown Displays honored as Supplier of the Year

TREVOSE, PA – January 20, 2017 – The Advertising Specialty Institute® (ASI) honored 205 of the top-performing suppliers in the promotional products industry and named Showdown Displays as the Supplier of the Year at the annual Counselor Distributor Choice Awards.

At an awards ceremony held Thursday during the ASI Show® Orlando trade show at the Orange County Convention Center, Showdown Displays was lauded for earning five-star ratings in every one of ASI’s ESP® performance rating categories, including customer service, delivery and quality.

According to ASI’s Counselor® magazine, Showdown Displays has an “On Target” guarantee that acts as the company’s promise to customers. For the Counselor Distributor Choice Awards, distributors across North America choose which companies to honor by voting for their most-valued supplier. Winners are selected based upon votes and data from ASI’s Supplier Performance Ratings. All told, 205 finalists qualified in 55 product categories. This year, distributors cast over 64,000 votes – an increase of nearly 15,000 from the previous year.

To be considered a finalist, an ASI supplier must be rated at least four stars overall in ESP and be one of the most-clicked companies in their category in ESP. This year, suppliers could be chosen in up to eight of their top product categories, in terms of clicks their products receive in ESP.

Among the suppliers winning in multiple categories were SanMar (asi/84863) with five wins and Leed’s (asi/66887), which won four.
