TREVOSE, PA – March 31, 2009 – The Advertising Specialty Institute®, the largest media and marketing organization serving the advertising specialty industry, announced today it named Victoria Hain as vice president of member services and support.
Ms. Hain joined ASI in October 2006 as senior director of member services. She reports to Vince Bucolo, chief operating officer at ASI. She has over 20 years of professional sales and operations support experience in a variety of industries, including telecom, financial services, law, health care insurance, publishing and promotional products.
Ms. Hain is responsible for over 50 professionals who provide ASI’s distributor, supplier and decorator members with a variety of support services. In 2008, her team handled 251,000 calls, over 40,000 emails and provided product training to 5,500 ASI members.
“Vicky’s straight-forward, detailed and methodical approach to operational and service related issues has earned her the respect of both co-workers and ASI members,” said Timothy M. Andrews, president and chief executive officer of ASI. “Her knack for implementing best practices has made a genuine difference at ASI.”
“Vicky implements effective customer service procedures so we can help more members,” said Bucolo. “She recently merged the credit and collections department with the outbound call center function to form one member services area, streamlining operations to serve members faster.”
Ms. Hain also leads the membership application team, responsible for member outreach and new member registrations for ASI and its 70 Advantages Roadshows and five national trade shows.
She received her Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and finance from Rider University in New Jersey, received a Certification of Regulatory (Audit) Compliance from the University of Oklahoma and earned a Master’s degree from the ABA Stonier Graduate School at the University of Delaware. She resides in Flemington, N.J. with her husband John and son Joseph.
