ASI’s ESP Now Provides Distributors With A Free, One-Stop Print-Sourcing Platform

PrintGizmo connects distributors and printers easily, efficiently and electronically

TREVOSE, PA – May 14, 2019 – The Advertising Specialty Institute® (ASI) today announced the launch of PrintGizmo, a free, value-added benefit for ESP® users that connects ASI distributor members with high-quality, competitively priced printers, enabling them to efficiently source catalog or custom print products from a larger pool of providers.

The new print marketplace in ESP covers the full spectrum of print, from a catalog of popular, standardized items to custom projects. To host and manage PrintGizmo, ASI partnered with eLynxx Solutions, a print procurement software company connecting printers and buyers since 1975.

“PrintGizmo is an industry first and we’re thrilled our distributor members can boost their buying power by shopping for better pricing, online 24/7, through ASI’s secure and familiar ESP,” said Bob DeFord, senior vice president of distributor sales and marketing. ESP is the only platform in the promotional products industry that provides this service to distributors. All licensed ESP users can access PrintGizmo, with no additional costs. When logged in to ESP, the PrintGizmo button appears directly below the distributor’s profile image in the upper right corner.

PrintGizmo features include:

  • Ability to source custom print jobs from multiple printers at a glance, eliminating price shopping and time-consuming calls to multiple printers
  • Pre-set product catalogs with set pricing and quote upon request
  • Customizable templates
  • Built-in print order management dashboard to organize and save quote requests, responses and orders
  • Higher profit margins on custom-quoted print projects

PrintGizmo has two pricing options, with all payments made directly to the printer:

  • Get a Quote: Distributors create a custom job, ask blind printers to bid on the business and then review and choose bids based on price, turnaround, shipping and other criteria.
  • Receive Instant Pricing: Easily order printed items like business cards from an online catalog of options, using the order form or templates.
