ASI Announces SGR’s Superstar Supplier Sales Winners

Matt Wagner of Fields Manufacturing named Supplier Sales Rep of the Year; Patty Ceranski of Gemline honored as Customer Service Rep of the Year

TREVOSE, PA – November 22, 2016 –The Advertising Specialty Institute® (ASI) today announced  Matt Wagner of Fields Manufacturing is named SGR magazine’s supplier rep of the year and Patty Ceranski of Gemline is selected as the customer service rep of the year.

The winners were chosen by distributors and are featured in the November/December issue of ASI’s SGR™ magazine, which delivers industry news from across the globe to suppliers throughout the $22 billion promotional products industry.

“This is my favorite issue of the year, for one simple reason: we get to laud some of the most talented suppliers in the industry and explain exactly why so many distributors consider them the very best and brightest,” said SGR Editor Michele Bell.

As director of sales development at Fields Manufacturing (asi/54100), Wagner handles the top national accounts, including those for the recently acquired American Greenwood. Since joining the St. Cloud, MN-based supplier five years ago, Wagner has rapidly ascended the company ladder and is now responsible for 25% of Fields’ annual revenue – about $5 million in sales.

“Matt is extremely passionate about Fields’ customers and finding solutions for their clients,” says Matt Bertram, the company’s president. “He has impeccable follow-up and is extremely thoughtful, creative, quick-thinking and sincere.”

Ceranski, the strategic account representative in the inside sales department for the Lawrence, MA-based Gemline (asi/56070), works with Lands’ End Business Outfitters, as well as about 200 active accounts at AIA and 300 at HALO Branded Solutions. She has served promotional clients since 1989, when she started as an inside sales representative for Parker Pen, remaining with the company for 20 years. As it transitioned to Gillette and then Sanford Business-to-Business, Ceranski gained experience in both inside and outside sales.

“Patty always thinks about her customers,” says Jonathan Isaacson, owner of Top 40 supplier Gemline. “It shows in her work ethic, attention to detail and passion for what she does. She’s a team player who does a wonderful job representing the company and always takes great pride in exceeding customer expectations.”

Loren Richardson of alphabroder (asi/34063) was named first runner-up for supplier sales rep of the year.
Rich Fatone of Garyline (asi/55990) was named first runner-up for customer sales rep of the year.
