4Imprint Names Lyons-Tarr CEO

UK-based 4imprint Group, the parent company of Top 40 distributor 4imprint (asi/197045), has announced that Kevin Lyons-Tarr will take over as CEO of the organization.

UK-based 4imprint Group, the parent company of Top 40 distributor 4imprint (asi/197045), has announced that Kevin Lyons-Tarr will take over as CEO of the organization. The appointment is effective as of March 31. Lyons-Tarr, who is a member of the Counselor Power 50 and had previously been CEO of the 4imprint North American and direct marketing business, will now oversee the company’s global operations, as well.

Following the appointment, Lyons-Tarr will continue to be based in the U.S., where he has been the head of 4imprint’s operations since 2003. 4imprint also said that as of March 31, David Seekings, chief financial officer of the company’s direct marketing business, will be appointed to the board as group finance director. And, John Poulter, who had been CEO of the overall organization and executive chairman of 4imprint, will relinquish his executive responsibilities later in 2015 and will become non-executive chairman.

The moves come during a time of fast growth for 4imprint, especially in its North American business. The company recently announced that it increased its revenues by 25% in 2014 to reach $415.8 million. The gains were mostly the result of the success of the company’s North American business. The Top 40 distributor grew its sales in the North American market by 28% in the final quarter of the year and by 25% for all of 2014 to reach nearly $400 million in annual sales.

The growth of the company’s North American division prompted the organization to announce recently that it is expanding its distribution center in Oshkosh, WI, and adding 150 new employees to its payrolls. “As a team, we are humbled by the strong customer demand we are experiencing and the loyalty our customers demonstrate,” Lyons-Tarr said. “Our ongoing growth and these expansions, in particular, are a credit to our hard-working associates and their commitment to doing right by others every day.”
