Managing Your Product Data



By keeping your information updated, you ensure that 30,000+ distributor users of ESP Online and 9,500+ Logomall websites have the most accurate information.  Having current data means more exposure and more sales.

Let us do your Updates

Timing is everything when it comes to your updates.  The sooner you get us your new catalogs, the sooner we can complete the work.  For a complete catalog replacement, updates typically happen within 30 days or less.  To have your information updated by the beginning of each year, we need to receive your catalog before December 1st.

  • Send us a catalog electronically to do your updates. The most efficient method for sending us your catalog is electronically using our FTP catalog upload tool. Click Here to go to the upload page.
  • Mail us a catalog to do your updates.If you do not have your catalog electronically, you can mail a copy of your catalog to us at:

Images

In order for ASI to visually represent your products on ESP in the best manner, we need the digital images of all products featured in your catalogs.

You can either mail a CD of images to us at the address above, or you can Click Here to go to the upload page and see our image requirements.

Although we can use scanned images from your catalog, to ensure the best quality, we need digital images that meet our specifications.

Do your own Updates

The Supplier Managed Updates program allows you to update your product data in ESP Online yourself.  All you have to do to get started is take a brief training tutorial.

The Supplier Managed Updates program allows you to update and delete your products, as well as add new products.  This program is recommended for any supplier who needs to update less than 50 products at a time.

Updates sent in via Supplier Managed Updates are processed within 3 business days.

Price Updates

As a supplier, you may need to update your pricing thru-out the year.  You can send us your price lists either via email, or use our catalog upload tool.  Here are some tips to help you with price updates.

  • Always provide a price list that corresponds with your catalog.
  • All prices must be ASI coded.  We need your retail/list prices and the corresponding discount codes (A, B, C, P, Q, R etc). For more Information click here.
  • For help with calculating coded pricing, you can contact ESP Online Information at 215-953-4ESP (4377) or email espupdate@asicentral.com and we can send you out an excel document to assist you.
  • If you wish, we can take your entire catalog and double the net prices and use the P discount code, which is 50%.

24 Hour Price Imports

  • Request your price list from ESP Online Information by sending an email to espupdate@asicentral.com and we will send an excel template with your product number and current prices.
  • Update prices on the template and email it back to espupdate@asicentral.com.
  • New prices are imported overnight.  Most prices are updated online by the next business day provided ASI receives the file prior to 3:00 PM EST. 
  • Price imports can only work where prices already exist and not for prices with QUR (Quote Upon Request).

Specials

Do you have a special promotion running on your products?  We can put your special offers in ESP Online so that they are searchable by distributors.  Your products on special will have SPECIAL listed next to the pricing in the summary view so they are easily identifiable to distributors in the ESP Online search results.

Be sure you include details about what the special is, the products it applies to, the effective date and the expiration date, and any special restrictions that may apply.

Minor Changes

Do you only need to update 1 product?  Maybe you need to have a few items removed, or need to update the production time on an item.  Maybe your prices went up on a handful of items.
